The Sports Castle stands out on North Broadway with its Art-Deco-inspired architecture that features ornate terracotta masonry and original stained-glass windows. The redevelopment team is pushing to have the Sports Castle included in the National Registry of Historic Places due to its prominent exterior and century-long history in the neighborhood.
